A great assortment of Astrophytum plants that are overdue for potting on, or are just something a little different.

Most are in really great condition and have just outgrown their pot, some may have some marks / blemishes.

CACTUS PLANT - CARE GUIDE:
 
Upon arrival of your new addition, we recommend that your promptly remove it from the box and unwrap carefully.
 
Place into a pot that is not much wider than the plant itself. Try to keep the level of the plant the same, usually you can see a colour variation that shows the previous soil level. 
 
Once potted up, keep in a protected position to reduce shock, then gradually make the transition to a sunnier spot.
 
Withhold watering for at least a week to get them settled into their new home, then follow the guidelines below:
 
 
Water Summer: During the warmer months, pots will dry out quickly, frequent watering is required. Water thoroughly, then allow soil to dry completely before watering again.
 
Water Winter: During the colder months, pots take longer to dry out. Water lightly, then allow soil to dry completely before watering again. In southern states of Australia, be very cautious when watering Astrophytum in the colder months.
They dislike being wet and cold, which could lead to root rot.
 
Soil: Free draining cactus or succulent mix is recommended.
 
Position: Filtered sunlight, or Morning sun to Full sun, avoid hot afternoon sun during the Summer months.
 
Pots: Squat pots are recommended. Use containers with good drainage holes.
