Astrophytum asterias produce spectacular large flowers during the warmer months of the year.
The shiowa flowers have thin petals, often twisted or wavy. Sometimes the plant will throw a regular looking flower too.
The plant on offer is a cross between 2 of my adult shiowa flowering plants.
For best results, plant a small pot - not much wider than the plant, in a very free draining mix, and let them completely dry out between waterings.
Keep very dry during winter.
The actual plant pictured is the one you will receive- Shown in a pot 60mm across.
Please note - Plants are posted bare rooted- without pot and potting mix.
A name tag will be wrapped with your plant for easy identification.
