Coryphantha

Coryphantha is a diverse genus of small to medium sized globular cacti native to Mexico and the southern United States, and are distingusihed by their grooved tubercles and often produce large, showy flowers in shades of yellow, pink, or white from the crown of the plant.

Their attractive symmetry, pronounced spination, and seasonal blooms make them popular among collectors.

Generally hardy and well suited to bright, dry conditions, Coryphantha are rewarding plants for both beginners and experienced cactus growers alike.
