Thelocactus
Thelocactus is a striking genus of compact, slow growing barrel cacti native to the arid regions of Mexico and parts of Texas. Highly sought after by collectors, Thelocactus species are known for their pronounced tubercles, sculptural ribs and bold, often colourful spines.
In the spring and summer, they reward growers with large, silky flowers in shades of pink, purple, yellow or white - often oversized compared to the plant body.
These drought tolerant cacti are ideal for pots, rockeries, and collectors displays. Their manageable size makes them perfect for small gardens and patio growing, while their unique textures and geometric form make them stand out in any succulent collection.
