Refunds / Exchanges
1. No returns or exchanges are accepted unless goods are damaged or significantly different from the description and picture on the website.
2. No refund or exchange will be given if you simply change your mind about your purchase, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the item/items, find you already have one or simply have no use for it.
3. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that their current and correct email address is provided for notification purposes . An email confirmation will be sent to the email address provided when an order is placed. A further email notification with a tracking number will be sent once the order is posted. If the email address provided is invalid, notifications can not be delivered. Choice Cactus and Collectables will not refund or exchange if the customer did not receive notifications.
4. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that their current and correct address is provided for the delivery of goods when placing an order. Choice Cactus and Collectables will not refund or exchange if an incorrect address is provided and goods were not delivered.
5. Choice Cactus and Collectables are not responsible for the safety of your parcel once delivered. If there is no safe place for your parcel to be left when delivered by Australia Post, we recommend choosing the option of signature on delivery.
6. Choice Cactus and Collectables are not responsible for parcel delivery times. We offer fast despatch, but once posted, we rely on Australia Post to deliver each and every parcel as quickly as possible. We do not offer refunds for late delivery of parcels.
7. There are thousands of species of cacti and succulents, and we are not experts on them all. We will list synonym's for the plants in the product description to help with identification, although these can change on a regular basis.
Many of our plants are grown from seed. We source our seed from reputable seed stockists, as well as our own plants and other collectors. Seed grown plants can differ from the parent plant, they will not be exact clones, and variations will occur.
A picture and description will be provided for what we believe to be the correct variety, so please look at the picture and read the description carefully before making your purchase. If you think the plant has an incorrect name, please do not purchase. No refund or exchange will be given if the variety of plant is disputed.
We are not, and do not claim to be experts on each and every variety of cactus and succulent plant. We have purchased plants from other collectors and specialist nurseries over many years. Some may have be mislabelled by the seller, and if so, we may have a plant incorrectly labelled on our website. We encourage you to contact us if you find a discrepancy, as we strive to keep the plant names as accurate as possible. Any help is much appreciated. We are always learning. Returns
Goods are not to be returned unless a mutual agreement has been reached.
Returned goods must be received back in the original box wrapped in the same packaging, and be in the same condition it was received, otherwise it may not be eligible for a refund.
The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
When returning the goods, proof of posting in the form of a tracking number must be provided.
We are unable to issue refunds without the actual receipt of the goods back.
Please allow 1-2 weeks after receipt of goods back for processing refunds.
We sell live plants and can not be held responsible for customer care after the receipt of goods. Claims received more than 48 hours after delivery of goods will not be accepted.
We make sure that every plant leaves us in ideal condition
For Desert Rose plants (adeniums), some yellowing / browning of leaves and leaf drop may occur during transit, and in the weeks after delivery. This is normal for adeniums, some will bounce back very quickly after being bare rooted, while others may take a little longer. We will not refund for browning leaves on plants or leaf drop.
Damaged Parcels
All plants are posted in solid boxes.
If the box has been crushed during transit, a claim for compensation is to be made directly to Australia Post.
For a better chance at a good outcome from Australia post, take multiple pictures of the damage to the box before opening. Also take pictures of the packaging and the contents when unwrapping.
Most of Australia Post services come with up to $100 compensation for loss or damage.
