Astrophytum capricorne subs. senile will produce a very large yellow flowers with a red centre.
The flowers are perfumed.
They are a fairly tough plant, and need quite a sunny position to grow well.
Plant will be of similar size to the ones pictured above, in the pots 70mm across.
