Echinocereus rigidissimus ssp rubrispinus requires a very well drained potting medium, and doesn't like wet feet.

Allow to dry out very well between waterings. Keep dry during winter.

It will produce very large pink showy flowers.

Plant will be of similar size to the ones pictured above, in the pots 60mm across.
