Espostoa melanostele is a columnar cactus covered with a thick, woolly coating that resembles hair.
It is native to dry, sunny, high elevations of Peru, and is extremely drought tolerant.
Plant in well drained position and water sparingly most of the year and not at all in the winter.
It is a slow grower, and may eventually sprout new branches from its base if given enough space and sunlight.
Plant will be of similar size to the ones pictured above, in the pots 70mm across.
Please note - Plants are posted bare rooted- without pot and potting mix.
A name tag will be wrapped with your plant for easy identification.
